Road to Guangdong is an adventure game developed by Just Add Oil Games for Xbox One. The game is set in 1990s Guangdong, China, and follows the journey of Sunny and her Aunt Guu Ma as they embark on a road trip to save their family restaurant. As Sunny, the player must drive and maintain their old car, Sandy, across Guangdong, taking care of fuel consumption, engine condition, and tyre maintenance to avoid calling the mechanic.
In addition to managing the car, the game also involves narrative puzzles and moral choices that shape Sunny's character and test her relationship with her aunt.
